hi all, every time try open excel there 10-20 second delay before happens. happens whether open excel on it's own or clicking on spreadsheet.  once excel open, there no delay open files through file -> open, there still delay open files clicking on them normally. the strange part? happens on local sessions, when physically using computer. when logged in remotely using remote desktop, excel opens instantly. does have ideas on causing this? appreciated. thanks ------------------ edit: found issue! having issue whenever go editing tabs , options other "home" when in word , excel (i have not attempted powerpoint or onenote). had lagged before, now, when trying add feature or edit document, application becomes unresponsive, frozen , rainbow wheel of death. have 2016 mac , uninstalled , reinstalled. specific example when click "mailings" , "labels" normal box , options not show. screen freezes , no buttons useable. case other tabs , options well. there have been no issues in typing in new document, making setting changes causes problem. forced "force quit" out of application. why happening , how can solve problem? i have 1 silverlight application works fine in windows 10 64 bit , ie11 64 bit. when open same silverlight application in a modal window , never loads. i can make working doing below 2 methods 1.  adding site in "compatibility view setting". 2.  run application in  "windows 10 64 bit , ie11 32 bit". because of security reasons can't ask clients both above options. earlier clients using windows 7 (where working fine). clients started upgrading systems windows 10 64 bit.  need make working business continuation. please me on this. note:  1 wierd thing happening. if rdc(remote desktop client) box( not working) different computer works fine. not sure how rdc differetn computer make difference? hi, your clients need install latest versions of silverlight (32 , 64bit versions), and you need update html application use latest version of silverlight.js or use stat
