Excel's Paste Match Destination Formatting is removing blank rows - Microsoft Community

just started happening me too. happens when pasting content 1 spreadsheet another, not when copying , pasting within same spreadsheet.

hi liz,

to investigate issue, i'd confirm following things:

1. operating system device, windows 10 or mac os?

2. version of excel? windows, open excel>file>account>capture screenshot under product information. mac, open excel>click excel on top bar>about excel.

3. mentioned behavior different when pasting 2 worksheets , pasting in same worksheets, capture 3 screenshots , share us?

   screenshot 1. content copy in original worksheet.

   screenshot 2. result when paste same spreadsheet.

   screenshot 3. result when paste worksheet.

4. issue occur when pasting match destination formatting? other paste options have same issue? meanwhile, normally, how copy , paste items, right-click, use button on ribbon or use keyboard?

5. use vba code mentioned in former thread? same question 4, can let me know normal operation steps copying , pasting cause issue.
