i have been supporting 2 access databases built past 3 yeas.  recently, 10/24/17, both database keeps crashing second or third person write database.   both databases split fe , be, sits on  shared drive.  fe sits on each users computer desktop or c drive.  right before db crashes, keeps saying person making edits same item, of course, no 1 is.  , after entering data in fields , click save, data doesn't save @ all.  right away corrupt file , compact , fix issue.  once compacted, can open db again db crashes again tries save data.  have tried moving tables new clean slate of access, tried removing forms/queries/etc create new front end , tried creating new test db , same happens, crashes.  test db, when ty split db shared drive, following message appears of times "the database engine not lock table "comment" because in use person or process."    made sure client settings have 'shared' checked.  users have write/read access.

i bought lumia 640xl dual sim few weeks ago, after buying it, updated latest creators update ( 10.0.15063.540 ) 8.1 update 2 within day. i'm facing major problem while sharing photos, on instagram , messenger, when tap on photo sharing icon on messenger on someone's inbox, in first few seconds starts loading, app shuts down, , start screen comes on, , few seconds after that, start screen shows "loading..." , screen goes blank , phone restarts. same thing happens when use instagram, when tap "+" post photos, same thing happens, app crashes, phone restarts, happens when try add instagram stories. works fine when remove sd card, can share photos device memory when take out sd card or remove settings>storage>sd card may think sd card has problems, tried other 2 sd cards, , still problem comes back, apps crashes, phone restarts, when there's no sd card, photo sharing on messenger or instagram works pretty good. talk

i'm new access, i'm sure question along these lines has been asked before, can't find it. i'm working on project analyzing voter turnout in state, working voter datasets each county. in dataset, there fields each election. if individual voted in election, marked x , left blank if did not. trying find out raw numbers of individuals voted in both elections i'm analyzing, , how many voted in 1 or other. in other words, need create query give me total number of times there x in both fields, , queries give me number of times there x in field 1 not 2, , vice-versa. i'm sure pretty basic task, can't figure out. appreciated! on create tab of ribbon, click query design. access displays show table dialog. select table, click add, click close. access automatically activates design tab of ribbon. click highlight totals in show/hide group. add voter id or name field query grid, fields 2 e
