Excel 218 character limitation - Microsoft Community

status of file name/file path character limitation ms excel?

i suspect not going change unless windows changes 256 character length limit file paths.

256 characters maximum length of link file in excel, if file name longer 218, 256 limit might exceeded.



Office / Excel / Other/unknown / Office 365 for business
