i have microsoft account, linked onedrive , office 365. however, on both desktop , laptop, sign in local accounts only. due reasons, attempting setup edge first time, syncing across both windows machines , android phone.  on phone, each ms app has it's own ms login, on windows machines, edge apparently won't setup sync unless sign computer microsoft account. is there way around that? my concerns switching using microsoft account sign computer several: loss of connectivity, still able log computer? data security, there data have not want go through or microsoft , exists on 1 of computers + backup. still case if switch? if switch login, use existing windows profile (including applications, settings , data), or have rebuild , import existing data, settings, etc, over? have onedrive , office365 don't use either of them? there nothing in onedrive? got new computer windows 10 , edge (i assume new internet explorer).  try download adblock onto it.  downloads, doesn't show , nothing.  download adblock plus.  it downloads, doesn't show , nothing.   try other adblock thing see on microsoft's store.  it downloads, doesn't show , nothing.   possible adblock program working it? * moved internet explorer hi dan, we need ask following questions can concern: can tell current version build of windows 10? did notice interruption when trying download extension? have received error message upon download or when applying extension? after have downloaded adblock plus, have checked if in extension section in microsoft edge settings? we waiting response. i don't know if battery problem while i'm on battery power, pc shut down unexpectedly no reason......this started happening week after updated build 16257. it not shut down unexpectedly while on ac. ***post   moved   by   the moderator appropriate forum category.*** hi luke, while waiting other members share input, can tell more concern? when said shutdown, did mean complete reboot or stays turned off? if have manually power on device, how battery status? has long has been going on? if happened recently, changes have been made device other installing latest build? are there software or programs involved when shutdown happens? if happens right after installed preview build, try rollback earlier build , check if issue continues. we forward response.
