Storage issue - Microsoft Community

other section in storage gets loaded automatically every , then. if have 300mb free shows 5mb or free. causes phone not functioning , many apps cannot run on such low storage. observing issue frequently. how can resolve this.

go settings/storage sense , click on phone scroll down other (take screenshot of page)

if huge amount of usage might try program store (it free) called storage cleaner:

if not trick consider hard reset.

to hard reset go settings , scroll down about. click on , see @ bottom "reset phone".

after resets, use same live id set contacts, calendar , access same onedrive account.

there option restore backup. not ever use that. in opinion easier start fresh , add programs want. add programs find use them when reset alwas start fresh add need.

reminder on pictures. if have not enabled auto upload onedrive lose them. if want or need them copy them pc. use auto upload feature once near wi-fi automatically transfers onedrive/cameraroll
