i going around in circles trying edge work.  i have windows 10 desktop date on winsows updates.  i using standard windows defender , windows firewall rather 3rd party protection software.  edge used work, when open edge, nothing happens - blank white screen line search box @ top of screen, , edge disappears after around 5 seconds.  same if type url or website name in search box @ top when opens.  same if enter "clear browsing data" in "settings" menu.  in each case, window edge has opened in closes. there various suggestions in different places.  i have tried following ways seem main things suggested, no success: 1. running sfc /scannow administrator in command window.  this runs , reports no issues. 2. deleting microsoft.microsoftedge folder users.....appdata , re-installing powershell using command this:  get-appxpackage -allusers -name microsoft.microsoftedge | foreach {add-appxpackage -disabledevelopmentmode -register “$

when users open office documents (excel, word, powerpoint) our website site popup windows security asking credentials.  if cancel or close (click  x) document opens no issue.  pop if opening, not if download , save machine. just started happening.  web server windows server 2008 r2 our users running windows 7 , ie 11 if use share drive path same files open no pop up.  happens when opening website. not sure if ie issue or web server, iis, or website? any suggestions or appreciated. try check behavior in other browsers , see whether problem persist? i guess issue directory permission in iis. make sure grand access directory in iis guest users. also check whether same thing happen if add different thing image? i using office 365 proplus, working access first time in version (have created many access applications in previous versions, access 98 through access 2007).  switchboard system uses embedded macros operate.  have never learned use macros, when started using access, have been phased out.  @ rate, learn how new system works, converted switchboard macros vba using "convert form's macros visual basic" command.  resulting code not compile, , not work. i message tempvars cannot objects, values, items being converted tempvars strings, , should work.  also, "argument" causes handling of vba subprocedures fail compile.  (the vba code not run). is there easy can modify code make work properly? ah, wish had been explicit in first instance. i see same problem, , report contacts in msft. thank reporting it. to work around now: tempvars.add "currentitemnumber", itemnumber.value ca
