Changing month name to numbers...and the format as well - Microsoft Community

hi all!!

i´m working weather databases  which in csv file; while  importing data excel calculations, of values changed "date format" (not values in columns, only of them)

now, values supposed numbers ,  dates , if try convert them numbers, the results are completely different reality

example:

temperature max° =    02.jun      the real value should 2.6

while changing format number format result is:

temperature max° =    42888

how can considering in same column have other values ok...

when opening csv file through data>external data>from text.

browse , open *.csv file , should present text import wizard.

you can designate column text in third step.
