hello everyone, use access database regularly in work.  have backed database external hardrive , need delete old contacts on original db on pc.  however, noticed when checked external backup contact had been deleted there dont need happen. does know of way delete contacts db on pc without effecting backed copy on external hardrive? you're doing dangerous: working access without being in complete control of configuration. you appear have linked tables pointing external hard drive. must aware of such configuration. linked table manager show you, , allow re-link be. in more sophisticated applications there can code in startup code handle re-linking, check well. hello, i'm using latest version excel ( office 365) 15.39,   on mac latest version of safari. 10.12.6. ( not high safari)    i have spreadsheet 8000 rows.  i'm unable select cells in 1 column of worksheet.  they empty, other rows or columns have data.  i want fill down or paste formula, can't  find easy way select cells.  i can move bottom of table, not select cells.  command + down arrow works in other columns go end of worksheet, there data in it, , command +shift + down arrow selects cells, there data in them.    the files, said should able select cell,  say c2, put new cell id , c8000, in "cell id " box left of function , edit items @ top of spreadsheet, , hit shift + enter , select cells bottom of spreadsheet, column, doesn't work.    i don't want manually scroll down  for thousands of rows find bottom of worksheet select cells, paste or fill down,  there must way ?? any ideas appreciated thank

hi there,  how can remove/turn off calculated columns feature in excel online? can find place turn off in excel application, not online. please let me know. thanks!    hi, in excel online, formula result automatically recalculated when change data in cells used in formula. can’t turn automatic recalculation off , can’t calculate formula results manually pressing f9, can in excel desktop application. can’t change number of times formula recalculated until specific numeric condition met, , can’t change precision of calculations using displayed value instead of stored value when formulas recalculated. hello, i have problem when copying large amount of data (many rows of numbers/alphabets separated commas). when copy data text documents, rows split 2 when pasted excel. an example of problem:  original text:  $pixog,config,celer,12,100.0,1540.9*09 $pixog,config,celer,13,100.0,1540.9*08 pasted text: $pixog,config,celer,12,100.0,1540.9*09 $pixog,c onfig,celer,13,100.0,1540.9*08 so, question is, how prevent separation of rows when copy , paste?? else, problem lie text documents?? hi, there probable reasons why experiencing said issue. 1 can excel not updated. meantime, kindly send screenshot of error getting in excel. hello i´m using office 365 quite long time. since week/the last update got weird behaiviour: - windows preview shows correct format. - open excel first line changes font , size, on every file in different calibri time new roman. font size stays correctly increased. - if click on cell (often!) correct font shows in toolbar if click inside , mark line see incorrectly in toolbar.  - if cell contains multiline content first line correct formated lines afterwards not. what tried yet: - repaired offline , online (resulalt deinstalled office, known bug out of forum) - deinstalled official ms tool , reinstalled fresh version - checked group policies - verified pc, on thers works - tried go roll before last update oh , thing, since have started wasn´t possible change default font stuck calibri (there no template , font correct in registry). on time got used changing manually. ps: no addin installed 

i trying use sumif function without success. if create simple function having these values in column a: 10 20 110 and try add sumif(a1:a3,">100") every time this: i don't suppose in country/region not accept commas delimiters , need use semicolon in lieu of comma following. =sumif(a1:a3;">100") Office / Excel / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

i need spreadsheet project doing... want combine multiple worksheets onto 1 main page automatic updating. at moment have 3 worksheets different sites, eg, uk, germany & france. have same columns in each sheet data varies.  i want combine 3 worksheets mass list in if update data in uk page or add column on bottom, update main page example of each worksheet layout: proposed kit invoiced yes/no invoice no. qty ordered qty shipped date opp no. site handset yes 1234 1 1 08/11/2017 4567 uk licence yes 1235 3 3 09/11/2017 1234 germany handset no 10 10 09/11/2017 9101 france is possible? fyi i'm not excel techy ... i'm winging it! also, combine data onto 1 sheet, make table , add slicer. slicer show box buttons on worksheet let click 1 or more sites automatically have filter data on table based on button clicked.
