Excel stop working - Microsoft Community

dear all,

i have issue excel 2016 professional.

when work many excel files, cannot work anymore cells or instrument panels.

i'm forced move other excel open files (file .xls or .xlsx) , select cells; in way, can go work file , have possibility move everywhere.

this problem occours in random mode, not always..

sometimes file blocked without other opened files.. in case taskmanager, can see 2 difference processes excel.exe (the first working file, , 1 excel grey windows)

for example, if open 4 different files, see 5 processes:

i have tried these resolution:

1)restore , unistall ms office 2016 pro, delete files c:\program files(x86)\microsoft office , other folders.

2)disable "dde (dynamic data exchange)" excel advanced option - general tab.

3)disable macros.

4)disable add-on components.

intermittent , random excel or office concerns common when there's a corruption in system files, conflict in software, a corruption in user profile , such. before in-depth troubleshooting, suggest running repair , office application.
