Converting Switchboard Macro to VBA fails - Microsoft Community

i using office 365 proplus, working access first time in version (have created many access applications in previous versions, access 98 through access 2007).  switchboard system uses embedded macros operate.  have never learned use macros, when started using access, have been phased out.  @ rate, learn how new system works, converted switchboard macros vba using "convert form's macros visual basic" command.  resulting code not compile, , not work.

i message tempvars cannot objects, values, items being converted tempvars strings, , should work.  also, "argument" causes handling of vba subprocedures fail compile.  (the vba code not run).

is there easy can modify code make work properly?

ah, wish had been explicit in first instance.

i see same problem, , report contacts in msft. thank reporting it.

to work around now:

tempvars.add "currentitemnumber", itemnumber.value

call eval(argument & "()")
