Laptop repaired / Office Issue at Apple but my Microsoft Office I - Microsoft Community

my wife , have mac had overhauled , subsequently had start on our file. purchased microsoft office online on amazon upon downloading office software library onto ur laptop, microsoft files open "read only". should resolved? have copy of invoice shows labor , cost have our laptop fixed if helps things.
