Take password off my sheet in Excel:mac 2011 - Microsoft Community

i need 2 thing

1) take password off spread sheet (i have password)

2) put password on column (a) has formula can not changed.

hi deanna,

you can remove protection sheet , apply protection selected cells.

to lock column, highlight column (column a) , right-click > format > protection and check locked box.

then, highlight other columns , right-click > format > protection and uncheck locked box.

when you're done, protect sheet password. in situation, locked column won't able edited, while others can.
