Office 365 - Excel Version 15.40 not working correctly on Mac running - Microsoft Community

hello,  downloaded office 365 outlook organization on new 27" imac running sierra. upgraded high sierra 10.13.1. excel version 15.40. when open usb connected drive excel spread sheet earlier version of excel i'm noticing it's not working correctly. if try cut , paste page - there extended lag of time , cant click cell in top row of page without first clicking on many other cells. excel seems quite sluggish,  example - when im working on rows in excel spread sheet far down spread sheet , go top of sheet, takes time rows / columns appear.

please advise.....   

i downloaded / installed office 365 while running sierra, running high sierra - should uninstall , "reinstall" using new os?

we know scrolling in page layout view slower, , thread's status “started”. can go to scrolling slow/laggy in page layout view (where page margins shown) plv submit feedback , vote it, , improve product.
