got new laptop comes 1 year subscription office 365 personal. when try use word. excel etc. says need activate (by today) not have product key , if use microsoft  account says not associated product

it's possible subscription came device may trial version or may have expired. better assist you, we'd ask following questions:

  • did purchase office 365 subscription separately?
  • where asked activate subscription right after purchased device?
  • what have done far resolve issue?
