i have upgraded office 2106 , ii have massive issue software
on tablet running windows 8.1 can embed excel file, open, edit , save without issues.
now when open same excel file in windows 10 opens in "read only" , requests me save different name. totally wrecks day open file 20 times day, team members same not anymore.
why have microsoft taken out functionality actively promote onenote collaboration tool.

1.for embedding excel file in onenote notebooks, did steps below?
go insert tab>file attachment>choose excel file , click insert.
if not, please clarify detailed steps.
2.regarding "now when open same excel file in windows 10 opens in "read only" , requests me save different name. ", please provide related screenshots describe it.
3.detailed office version. please go file>account> capture screenshot of product information.
4.does happen specific page or pages in onenote?
