my spreadsheet requires figures round nearest 9 whole number 

example: 

$2197.64     round   $2199.00  or   $2197.49    round $2197.99

is there formula this?

you have 2 different requirements according examples.

what consider "nearest 9 whole number"?

for first number 2197.64


=ceiling(2197.64,3)  returns  2199 request

for second number  2197.49

i not consider 2197.99 whole number.
