Unable to share Access 2016 Database with another person - Microsoft Community

i have been supporting 2 access databases built past 3 yeas.  recently, 10/24/17, both database keeps crashing second or third person write database.   both databases split fe , be, sits on  shared drive.  fe sits on each users computer desktop or c drive.  right before db crashes, keeps saying person making edits same item, of course, no 1 is.  , after entering data in fields , click save, data doesn't save @ all.  right away corrupt file , compact , fix issue.  once compacted, can open db again db crashes again tries save data.  have tried moving tables new clean slate of access, tried removing forms/queries/etc create new front end , tried creating new test db , same happens, crashes.  test db, when ty split db shared drive, following message appears of times "the database engine not lock table "comment" because in use person or process."    made sure client settings have 'shared' checked.  users have write/read access.  again, this issue happened on 24th. anyone familiar issue?

i running windows 7 , using office 2016 (365)

the dbs used 20-30 people on regular work day.

there laccdb file same name accdb, on shared drive? if delete it.
