Problem while Sharing Photos; Instagram & Messenger Crashes - Microsoft Community

i bought lumia 640xl dual sim few weeks ago, after buying it, updated latest creators update (10.0.15063.540) 8.1 update 2 within day. i'm facing major problem while sharing photos, on instagram , messenger, when tap on photo sharing icon on messenger on someone's inbox, in first few seconds starts loading, app shuts down, , start screen comes on, , few seconds after that, start screen shows "loading..." , screen goes blank , phone restarts. same thing happens when use instagram, when tap "+" post photos, same thing happens, app crashes, phone restarts, happens when try add instagram stories.
works fine when remove sd card, can share photos device memory when take out sd card or remove settings>storage>sd card
may think sd card has problems, tried other 2 sd cards, , still problem comes back, apps crashes, phone restarts, when there's no sd card, photo sharing on messenger or instagram works pretty good.
talked issue people use same model phone , same os build, sadly, not facing problem. think i'm 1 facing problem. apps updated.

hello,

based on have described, issue caused memory cards using on phone. can resolve issue performing scandisk maintenance on memory cards.

please following steps:

1. turn off phone , remove memory card. use microsd memory card reader , plug in computer.
2. right-click the sd card drive want check , click properties.
3. click tools tab , under error-checking, click check now.
4. put check mark in the automatically fix file system errors and scan , attempt recovery of bad sectors check boxes.
5. click start.

important: the scan process may take time depending on size of memory card , number of system errors try recover.

after scan process completed, mount memory card phone , try share photos using social apps again.
