Why is pasting in OneNote Mac from external programs so slow, and even - Microsoft Community

some time ago, paste function on onenote mac slowed crawl.

for external content - web, vs code, textedit, notes, etc. - onenote takes full second paste content.  onenote freeze on cmd+v paste, show "please wait..." dialog, paste.

content within onenote, on other hand, pastes instantly.

not that, paste fail first time - onenote freeze, show "please wait," nothing pasted.  second paste works (slowly).

i have fast internet connection (which shouldn't matter), , have cleared recycling bin.  no other program on machine has remotely similar pasting problem.

if totally disable wifi, see exact same issue, can't due slow network.

please fix issue, interrupts focus , i'm concerned it's doing same staff, have using onenote.
