Office 365 Modern Auth error and Mac Applications using 3rd party IDP - Microsoft Community

hi all,

i'm wondering if knows if there difference in way office 365 apps use modern auth on mac , windows. having issues our mac applications that's caused break in flow between our two, loadbalanced, idp servers (running shibboleth). saml assertion starts on 1 server , continues on other. did have issues apps (windows, android, ios) fixed after creating persistent sessions on saml endpoint. issues seem have out mac os office 365 clients. possible can't stick particular server using cookies?

modern authentication uses oauth 2.0 standards , supported on multiple platforms, including osx, ios, android, , windows. detailed information, please see: availability of modern authentication different operation systems

 

moreover, should check whether idp listed in these third party identity provider qualifies use modern authentication. please see:
