older file format excel with dropbox - Microsoft Community

when try edit excel docs on ipad says read only-this older file format. changes can saved copy of file. i'd able convert original file new file format syncs automatically on every device edit on. dropbox should work. 

if havent added dropbox place. first go ahead , add that. can open xls file , save/save , save xlsx file. file should sync automatically on every device edit. let know if still facing issues.
