dear all,

the problem reported nordmann1087 word on mac doesn't allow correct collaboration via onedrive not related word mac mentioned in answer of microsoft. problem caused onedrive itself.

when opening document directly in sharepoint collaboration , sync works well. word mac recognizes document opened online location. different, if opens document via onedrive. word not aware location of document , treats local document

based on description, kindly invite vote uservoice: to open files in "collaborative mode" when using synced folder open file make our products , services better , others.
