noting details have provided.

this can caused several different reasons. software incompatibility or device driver issue.

to this, let make sure following below met can avoid installation error in windows 10:

  1. make sure device has enough space. device requires @ least 16 gb of free space upgrade 32-bit os, or 20 gb 64-bit os. more info, see free drive space in windows 10. 
  2. run windows update few times. download , install available updates in windows update, including software updates, hardware updates, , third-party drivers. use troubleshooter windows 10 fix windows update errors.
  3. check third-party drivers , download updates. can find third-party drivers , installation instructions hardware you’ve added device on manufacturer’s website. 
  4. unplug hardware. remove external storage devices , drives, docks, , other hardware might have plugged device isn’t needed basic functionality.
  5. check device manager errors. select start  button, in search box on taskbar, type device manager. choose device manager results. in window pops up, device yellow exclamation mark beside (you may have select each category switch list of devices). press , hold (or right-click) device name , select either update driver software or uninstall correct errors.
  6. remove third-party security software. make sure know how reinstall programs , necessary product keys on hand. windows defender protect device in meantime. 
  7. repair hard-drive errors. select start  button, in search box on taskbar, type command prompt. choose command prompt list of results. in window pops up, type chkdsk/f c: , press enter key. repairs automatically start on hard drive, , you’ll asked restart device.

    you must have administrator permissions on device this.

  8. do clean restart windows. learn how. 
  9. restore , repair system files. select start  button, in search box on taskbar, type command prompt. choose command prompt list of results. in window pops up, type dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth , press enter key. (learn repair windows image)
