OneDrive for MAC not deleting files when Sync and upload files again - Microsoft Community

dear all,

i have recurrent issue onedrive mac, using latest version 17.3.6919

i have 2 macs, 1 mac mini external hd placed onedrive folder, , macbook pro retina using default folder location onedrive. issue when create files mac mini, or delete them, rename, etc  all changes correctly following sync process , changes reflected macbook pro. when other way, means deleting files example macbook pro, files mac mini not deleted , worst start upload files again!! (the ones supposed deleted during sync).

i tried uninstall/install onedrive app macmini problem persist, had removed onedrive folder , allow onedrive installer create again...... if change permissions of onedrive folder 777 macmini sync happens ok, not expected done time right?  can has fact using external attached disk store 1 drive folder in macmini??? volume standard fs mac, permissions set (compared macbook pro).. appears onedrive app running different user in macmini avoid update or delete files during sync... don't know going on.

btw using latest macos sierra 10.12.6 in both machines.

based on description, behavior normal when use onedrive in mac mini, in mac pro, if delete file, file in mac mini won't deleted , file upload again. we'd confirm information.

 

1. sign in same account on 2 onedrive sync client?

 

2. please try stop syncing onedrive on mac mini, delete items in onedrive sync folder on mac pro.
