Malware Attack on Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0 - Microsoft Community

i have got attack today after updated to microsoft edge 40.15063.0.0 , asked me call number 1-888-241-3676 , person on other side asked me run program apparently fix .. refused , i'm contacting microsoft forum... i'm not going use insecure browser again. did 1 experience before? microsoft message can validate ... doesn't seem , guy on phone number didn't said microsoft...please careful everyone. @ screen grab below. microsoft has this.. hope didn't steal info.....???? 

if didn't allow them remote access, fine. and, happens using browser including apple's safari.

it's common scam. click ok button @ bottom of popup. should see box not allow site create new messages. check , close window.

for other browsers, use task manager exit browser. reboot , see if pop-up goes away.
