How to make imported Chrome bookmark bar replace the previous - Microsoft Community

first of all, apologies question classification there did not appear option choosing microsoft edge or windows 10.

in microsoft edge know how import favourites chrome. favourites end in folder called imported chrome subfolders of bookmarks bar , favourites. not change items appear on favorites bar @ top of screen these remain whatever before.

how items on imported bookmarks bar appear @ top of screen on favorites bar , replace there previously

the items appear in horizontal favorites bar @ top of window controlled folder called "favorites bar" vertical favorites pane.

so, open vertical favorites pane normal way (via "hub" icon... 3 little lines), expand folder called "favorites bar", , delete existing items , move few favorites there via "drag-n-drop" operation.  special folder mirrors horizontal favorites bar.  so, put there show both in vertical favorites pane , in horizontal favorites bar.

you can "move things around" if like.... move favorites inside "imported" folder "root" of favorites "tree".  make of favorites appear in hub without having first click on folder see them
