Excel for Mac - ribbon does not appear randomly - Microsoft Community

hello,

i've been having problem open excel document, ribbon won't appear.  when happens, excel not respond file/close command - have quick excel not ideal.  use downloaded desktop version (not excel online).

can tell me why happening , how fix it?

does issue happen specific excel workbook? if yes, please create new workbook, copy content original workbook , paste in new one. open new workbook , check result.

in addition, can try start mac in safe mode, check if issue persists.
