Excel 2016 Items Displayed in Filter Drop-Down List - Microsoft Community

i'm using excel 2016 (version 1706, build 8229.2073 click-to-run) , i'm having issue displaying more 10,000 items using auto filter. column contains 12,332 dates using format mm/dd/yyyy. of these, there 454 unique date values.

can tell me if 10,000 item limit based on unique items or count of items?

oddly enough, not seeing same issue/limitation excel 2013 though has same limitation specs.

hi,

having exact same issue. issue version of excel version 2013 did not exhibit behavior. have analysed options , settings , not find switch fix guess wait microsoft pick up.
