White screen when I open Edge - Microsoft Community

hi

when launch microsoft edge (windows 10) white screen. name in address bar nothing. if use favourites or search loads very slow. firefox , chrome work fine else. happens on account. have works fine.

have tried suggestions can find having no joy. ran safety scanner on other account found nothing. wont download on account i'm having microsoft edge problems. 

would grateful advice

1. make sure close microsoft edge before reinstalling it.
2. on cortana search, type file explorer.
3. choose file explorer list.
4. go view tab , put tick on hidden items box.
5. press windows key + r on keyboard, type c:\users\username\appdata\local\packages , click ok. note: replace username with own user name.
6. look microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder , delete it. click yes, if confirmation dialog box appears. if refuses delete files, click skip.
7. close applications , restart computer.
8. on cortana search, type windows powershell.
9. right-click on windows powershell , select run administrator.
10. on powershell command box, type cd c:\users\yourusername open user account's directory. note: replace yourusername with own user name.
11. on powershell command box, paste command: get-appxpackage -allusers -name microsoft.microsoftedge | foreach {add-appxpackage -disabledevelopmentmode -register “$($_.installlocation)\appxmanifest.xml” -verbose}
12. press enter and "operation completed for" message appear if command successful.
13. restart computer again.
