Microsoft Excel loss of functionality post August 2017 updates - - Microsoft Community

excel reacting sluggish @ best, or not @ since series soft updates in mid-august microsoft , adobe.  also appears impact word , on occasion outlook.  the computer running window's 10 pro microsoft office 2013.   disk usage appears @ 100% if large excel file open.   did not have issues day prior working on exact same file.  

i not have issues working file on laptop running window's 10 hone , office 2016.

i've bought , installed office 2016 , have uninstalled adobe reader on affected computer - , still has same issue office 2013 - extremely slow/sluggish non-responsive.  

anyone else having same issue?  any cures?   adobe updates not provide 'uninstall' option , there no backup/reset version prior update

there possibility issue might have occurred due program files have gone bad in system. 

 

we recommend running microsoft office configuration analyzer tool 2.2. this tool diagnose office , check configuration.
