hi krystyna,

try formatting date, see if works. this, please follow steps below:

  1. select cells want format.
  2. on mac, press control+1 or command+1.
  3. in format cells box, click number tab.
  4. in category list, click date.
  5. under type, pick date format. format preview in sample box first date in data.

in addition, please check system preference> language , region> advanced>dates.

if issue persists, please provide following information:

  1. in excel, go excel menu , choose about excel, confirm version , build.
  2. do existing spreadsheets show same behavior or one?

thanks,

neha
