a formula containing entry =$b3 copied cell 1 column right , 2 rows down.  how entry appear in new location?

hi susan,

 

do mean move mouse right bottom of cell hold “+” button fill cells?

  

if so, when fill formula =$b3 of original cell down rows, =$b4, =$b5… if fill right columns, =$b3 time.

if information above not related mean, please describe question have more details.
