Can't install Windows 10 Insider Preview 16288.1 - Microsoft Community

every time try install it, cancels installation , gives me following error code after restoring previous system state: 0x80070714

i've done research on microsoft answers forum , on google, , people disabling sql server(s) in msconfig resolves issue.

the issue not have sql server listed in msconfig , have no virus programs installed (no avira, mcafee, malwarebytes etc.).

is there else can try resolve issue? don't want stuck on old insider preview forever.

this issue may have been caused incompatible software or driver.

we know more information concern, please answer following questions:

  • what current build of windows 10?
  • have tried checking programs , features if sql server installed?
