Why is GraphicsPerfSvc burning up my CPU? - Microsoft Community

since last windows insider build (prerelease rc2 think), graphicsperfsvc number 1 in task manager, burning 12-15% of cpu , pushing 1 of cores 55 degrees celsius. fan running, when i'm not running game or doing exciting. think it's doing?

and since keeps doing when *am* running game, seems cause frame rates drop. (hard tell though.)

version 1709, build 17063.1000

intel i7-6700k 4ghz

64g ram

btw "about" system prefs panel should have "copy" button don't have type specs in hand.

this might either caused service or windows defender. we're glad know stopped. however, of moment, still need isolate have caused issue exactly. initial troubleshooting step, suggest performing clean boot , check if same behavior occur.

if issue persists after performing clean boot, try booting pc in safe mode further troubleshoot problems in computer.

update outcome can provide further assistance.
