OneNote 2016 Syncing Issue - Mac - Microsoft Community

i'm having problem being unable sync. keep getting "please wait" windows flashing @ 1 note attempts sync fails. portions of screen appear blacked out each time window appears. can't access updated today 15.38 believe.


so, rebooted , after long pause sync did take place.

by "i rebooted , after long pause sync did take place", mean @ last notebooks sync now?

if issue persists, i'd confirm following things:

1. store notebook in onedrive or onedrive business?

2. how many notebook open in onenote mac? stored in 1 account or different accounts? issue related 1 of these notebooks or notebooks?

3. onenote mac stand-alone app or office 365 suite?

4. access mac safe mode see if same issue occurs.
