IE slow opening local web sites - Microsoft Community

hi all, have many pcs connected lan without internet access. if open web pages of local web sites, internet explorer stay in blank page 30/40 sec before page opens. if same test pc has internet connection, page opens immediately. tried several workarounds example removing check windows verify internet connection using nla parameter, i'treid reset the tcp/ip stack, , on. problem remains. ideas?

what zone appear in?  use file, properties (alt-f r)  check.   if don't show as intranet imagine explain symptom.

related "how open such sites?"   e.g. if don't use protocol prefix involve search address bar involve internet request.  search address bar enabled?  can use manage add-ons, search providers check.  (alt-x m, alt-s , alt-b toggle apparently).

otherwise try starting about:blank, activating developer tools (f12) , doing navigation see if (now automatic) dt network capture give clues.   e.g. "30 40 seconds" give plenty of time switch dt , see happening there.  let pinned (ctrl-p) , see both problem page , dt in same window.
