OneNote for OSX crashes on pasting text from any other program

this problem has become worse in recent versions... pasting text outside applications onenote makes program go unresponsive. 30% of time.

when paste does work (70% of time), takes 1-3 seconds, comes , pastes correctly.

this on 15" mbp13,3

16 gb memory

to troubleshoot issue, provide following info:

1.your os version , office version. (onenote>about onenote)

2.the detailed repro steps. example, how paste? copy content other place , right click in onenote , select paste or use command + v paste contents?

3.by "go unresponsive", mean onenote hangs? if so, there notifications? it's better provide a screenshot.

4.did onenote work previously? if so, did make changes updating or installing software?
