so, when log onto portal.office.com, use school account, , click on "install office 2016", download doesn't start. tried "other installs" option, , nothing work, chrome returns error "err_tunnel_connection_failed". have page load, can download installer?

in internet explorer, try disable internet explorer proxy setting , check if download installer.
- open internet explorer.
- click settings icon, , click internet options.
- click connections tab, , click lan settings.
- uncheck box says use proxy server lan.
- make sure automatically detect settings box checked
- click ok.
you can follow same steps in chrome.
if issue persists, please provide screenshot of error.
