i work financial reports , need show in separate table sum of invoice values based on mmm-yy value when report dates showing dd-mm-yy function should using? i've tried sumifs i'm having trouble riddling way through criteria ranges , creating  a function need. 

i working through 80 months worth of invoices dates.
