hello, had microsoft tech remotely access computer request had word. had several tabs opened , tech went close them , when dialog box appeared stating want close tabs, tech did not check box close tabs. when have several tabs opened in edge, , x out of them, dialog box states want close tabs. select box close tabs. however, every time have several tabs opened, , x out of edge still getting dialog box want close tabs. have searched online , found post had information registry editor , missing dword ask close tabs value of 0. entered new dword registry, ( followed instructions in post, how registry editor, selecting string: computer\hkey_current_user\software\classes\local settings\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\appcontainer\storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\microsoftedge\main entered new dword. still dialog box stating want close tabs. how set edge close tabs , not have edge prompt me have repeating dialog box appear every time want x out of edge?

this issue can related improper registry settings.
to disable do want close tabs? dialog box, recommend navigating computer\hkey_current_user\software\classes\local settings\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\appcontainer\storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\microsoftedge\main again , disable asktoclosealltabs dword double-clicking on , entering 0 (zero) on value data field/box.
