excel documents not saved on mac - Microsoft Community

have been using excel mac sometime , have not had problems.  recently, have been working on files have number of sheets.  this files being saved regularly when working on them.  once macbook closed , return document, sheets lost.  i cannot understand why happening.  can advise.

if using current version of mac os, can use safe mode troubleshoot file system issues:

use safe mode isolate issues mac - apple support

Deploying Office 365 is failing to write "updatepath" to the - Microsoft Community
