Excel 2017, Right Click Object for Menu Selection - Microsoft Community

yesterday, purchased new ms office bus pro.
replaced version 2013 of office.
presently having problem excel 2017.
i’m able open previous files, make changes , save.
however, there 1 change can not make save.
in excel 2017, when select item/object , right click menu,
menu selection make is  “format shape” , here
system fails.

the message is”

microsoft excel has stopped working
problem caused program stop working correctly.
windows close program , notify if solution available.
   [ close program ]

long not use editing control, can make other changes , save.

there fix?

there several ways troubleshoot issues office applications, particularly excel. 1 of possible steps can launch excel in safe mode. better assist you, need answers following questions:

  • which version of windows are using?
  • what exact version of office installed in replace office 2013?

in meantime, suggest repair office software find , fix issues within application. this, follow steps in article.
