Email app on lost iphone and lost sim card - Microsoft Community

hi, if i've lost iphone sim card inside it, , thief has phone uses own sim card inside iphone, able access emails , private contents on microsoft outlook email app on stolen iphone? or outlook recognize foreign intrusion result of foreign sim card being used on phone, , therefore prevent access email account?
