Paste question involving linked cells - Microsoft Community


i'd ask "how to" question.  fyi, i'm using ms office professional plus 2013.

i have multiple workbooks (wb1 , wb2 through wbn), each of has several tabs/sheets.  concept each of wb2-n books structured identically wb1, save data.  might imagine, wb1 intended template, different people in charge of subsequent workbooks working off same structure.

since set up, new "tops down" orders require need add new sheet our individual workbooks.  new sheet uniformly structured, such third party can access these sheets pull data company reports.   , other sheets in our workbooks, values in new sheet link cells in other sheets within each of local workbooks.

what want create new sheet ("template") sheet in wb1, , have each of owners of other sheets able copy workbooks.  problem don't know how build such when copy new sheet books, linked cells refer workbooks, rather original wb1 sheet.

i'm not sure if there's need when first create linked cells, or when team paste.

any thoughts?  (is possible?)
