How does the 'Report Abuse' process normally work? - Microsoft Community

i had big problems logging mscomm first thing today , @ first wondered whether caused user having posted that he/she reporting of replies ( , user's) under 'report abuse'. rebooted, did nothing for 30 minutes , tried again - no problems, perhaps current ui & other performance problems cause.

i appreciate 'report abuse' work bit behind @ moment (which might mean above reports against me still looked into! omg) i'd appreciate if answer these please respect process:

(1) user has been reported email notification he/she 'under investigation'?

(2) when decision has been made, how user told?

(3) given current delays in investigating such "abuse", have idea when last week's complaints against me looked into?

sorry add workload sword of damocles unsettling. i've never had such complaint made against me.

ps how deal users have 'reported abuse' lots of times subsequently rejected?

hi taffy,

if normal user reported post abusive, not have direct effect on profile. if experiencing issue logging in our community, not related reported post. still experiencing issue?

does user has been reported email notification he/she 'under investigation'?

-user not receive notifications.

when decision has been made, how user told?

-if there no abuse, report declined, if abuse confirmed – post edited/deleted , in case of severe violation, user warned via private message or banned. this valid users creating false abuse reports well.

given current delays in investigating such "abuse", have idea when last week's complaints against me looked into?

-all abuse reports being reviewed within 1 business day.

always respect,

hamilton
