HELP! IE 11 Stop Working on Windows 7 as soon as it is started. - Microsoft Community

help!  ie 11 stop working on windows 7 pro/64 started , appears on , on 10 times.

i have rebooted.

cleared cache, forms , other types.

there no enabled add-ons.

disabled control panel, rebooted, re-enabled several times.

tried download , re-install says newer version installed.

tried move/delete internet explorer program files couldn't since need permission trusted installer (i admin).

i believe windows updates caused issue not clear uninstall although .net framework 4.6.2 updated.

hi,

the issue internet explorer may software conflict. provide proper resolution, verify exact error message you're getting whenever you're opening internet explorer.

meanwhile, if want uninstall update , don't know 1 causing error, here's how: 


  1. in search box on taskbar, type view installed updates, , select view installed updates.
  2. expand window see installation date, , select update want uninstall.
  3. select uninstall.

you can try using automatic troubleshooter. can diagnose , resolve issues for internet explorer automatically.
