Continuum has stopped working - Lumia 950 XL - Microsoft Community

i have been using continuum through microsoft display dock watch netflix etc. on tv. used work well. has stopped working. 

the problems began couple of weeks ago. when using continuum tv screen started flashing in , out of connection. when connect dock, tv screen remains black (blank), though continuum launched on phone.  

i have tested (newer) 950 xl using same dock , worked fine. both phones configured same , date.

update: have done further testing:

display dock + friend's 950 xl
result = working ok

display dock + 950 xl
result = continuum launched on phone not projecting tv (or friend's tv)

wireless adapter + 950 xl
result = working ok

when connect phone display dock, phone screen flashes 3 or 4 times between continuum blue screen ("how connect?") , continuum touchpad. tv screen remains black (blank), though continuum appears launched on phone.

the problem appears continuum software on phone. how reset continuum?
