microsoft edge dissappeared , when click start doesn't show , have no way of finding it. can help?

hi gavin,

a corruption on operating system files may cause microsoft edge disappear computer. isolate issue, let ask few questions first:

  • were there changes made on computer settings prior issue?
  • does appear when search using cortana search?

note: please go through section: how reset computer start usual after troubleshooting clean boot of knowledge base article boot computer in normal startup after resolving issue.

meanwhile, suggest run system file checker and deployment image servicing , management using steps on link. these tools scan of important files on computer , replace them necessary.
