Japanese fonts on a western Computer + Excel - Microsoft Community

hi work puma se, in japan our organization have access in excel following font hgp gothic m  and hg gothic m , we trying use same font here in germany, cannot manage so, there possibility this?

all option online suggest need pay money.. though font available free in excel in japan.

hello andres,

it seems fonts mentioned, hgp gothic m , hg gothic m custom fonts , doesn't ship excel 2016. if still have access pcs have fonts, can copy , install on pc you're going use.

  1. select start button, type fonts , press enter.
  2. right-click font need.
  3. select copy , paste font folder. alternatively, can drag , drop font different folder copy it.
  4. transfer font file pc you're going use.
  5. install font right-clicking file , select install. if prompted, click yes or enter administrator password.
  6. restart excel 2016.
